treeBusinesses are critically dependent on ecosystem services, which are in widespread decline because of biodiversity losses. How are companies responding to the challenge of biodiversity loss, which is a fundamental threat to business and to society? And how are companies communicating publicly about their actions and commitments on biodiversity? A recent study by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited and Deloitte France, on biodiversity management among the Fortune Global 50 companies, suggests that a large majority of the Fortune Global 50 companies are communicating publicly about their biodiversity initiatives. And most of the 50 companies report they are taking action to manage biodiversity impacts. Download the attached paper to read more details from the study findings along with suggested actions for business.
