The Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu audit approach places an important focus on obtaining an understanding of the client’s business. This requires our staff to understand business cycles and to identify controls within the business cycles. To support the identification of control activities, we have developed useful tools, such as our internal controls databases for business cycles and general computer controls.
