Long-term Tax Seminar

Date:14 October 2013 – April 2014 
Duration: 6 months (Monday, Wednesday & Friday 17:00-21:30)
Instructors :

- Dr. George Alifantis │Program Director and principal instructor, Professor at the University of Piraeus and Certified Accountant

- Experienced Tax experts from Deloitte’s Tax Department are also included in the instructors’ team

Scope: Providing our participants with specialized knowledge in the Greek Tax Law as well as preparing them in order to cope with the challenges that stem from the constant changes in the Greek Tax Legislation. The seminar will analyze the basic tax principles following the main available legislation, including the Acts No 4172/2013 and No 4174/2013, as well as all other changes being implemented till April 2014, and will transmit all necessary knowledge via practical examples and case studies.

Scope: To help participants in better managing their professional and personal time. At the beginning of the seminar, the participants will have the opportunity to analyze and understand the way they organize their daily tasks and the reason behind their inability to efficiently manage their time. Afterwards, they will learn how to differentiate their tasks into important and non-important according to their link with their personal targets and how to identify and control the factors that prevent them from doing their jobs well and therefore filling their precious time with aimless tasks. They also learn how to organize their daily program in order to become more efficient so as to accomplish the balance between their work and personal lives.

Scope: Partners, directors and managers interpret and utilize financial reports regularly. Financial Reporting can help assess the overall financial performance of the organization, a particular department, or even the competition — providing a basis for sound decision making and action.
In this course, participants will learn how to read and interpret income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements – on actual as well as budget basis. By understanding these three principal financial reports, participants can conduct advanced analysis of their firm's financial performance.
