Deloitte Greece organized an IFRS Accounting Workshop for shipping companies that covered selected accounting issues and IFRS application in practice. The event took place on Deloitte’s premises at the 14th of April 2011.
Many CFOs, Accountants, Financial Controllers, Reporting Managers, Internal Auditors and other executives attended the workshop in order to gain a deeper understanding of the accounting issues. Deloitte partners, principals, and managers that serve the shipping industry ran the seminar.
The workshop focused on accounting issues and asked participants to work through case studies, some of which were based on facts from actual transactions.
This “hands-on” session was an interactive training experience for accounting teams facilitated by Deloitte staff.
