On the occasion of the “Posidonia International Exhibition” Deloitte hosted on the 1st of June an accounting seminar for shipping companies at our premises and a cocktail reception at the Yacht club of Greece.
The “Posidonia Shipping Accounting Update” workshop covered selected accounting issues and US GAAP & IFRS application in practice. The seminar was facilitated by Deloitte partners, principals, and managers that serve the shipping industry.
More than 80 senior shipping industry executives and owners attended our private cocktail party at the Yacht Club of Greece, the prestigious private members club in the Castela area of Piraeus with a unique view of Microlimano Bay. This is the fifth consecutive year Deloitte is hosting a reception alongside the world’s premier shipping exhibition.
