The 2013 UK Budget will be held on 20 March 2013. This seminar aims to provide a summary of the key issues in the Budget and their impact on Japanese groups doing business in the UK. We will also talk about the recent events around the tax avoidance debate (particularly around US household names) and what this means for Japanese groups. We will also provide an overview of recent European tax developments.
In our seminar we will cover:

Tax avoidance debate
A discussion of the recent events around the tax avoidance debate and a commentary on the possible next steps following recent announcements by the G20 countries around crack downs on tax avoidance by multinational companies and the impact this may have on Japanese groups operating in Europe.
