Deloitte and Pinsent Masons are pleased to announce details of the first seminar of 2013 for young professionals working in the energy industry. We will be kicking off this year’s programme of events on the evening of Thursday 28 March with guest speaker Alfie Cheyne, CEO of ACE Winches .
Alfie has spent his career in engineering, starting off as an apprentice Marine Engineer before founding Alfred Cheyne Engineering in 1992. In 2004, the company was rebranded to ACE Winches cementing its status as a global leader in the design, manufacture and hire of hydraulic winches and marine deck machinery.
Renowned for his hard work, drive and determination, Alfie has a natural ability to recognise opportunities and seize them. As a result, Alfie has received a number of prestigious awards and was most recently named the Institute of Directors’ Global Director of the Year in 2012.
We would be delighted if you could join us for drinks and canapés, followed by a talk from Alfie, where he will share his wealth of experience with our audience. There will be an opportunity to network with your peers both before and after Alfie’s session.
