Life Sciences companies are currently experiencing a period of unprecedented change. Driven by shifts in age and demographics, disease, the entry of new technologies, increased government regulations and user requirements, and the pace of health care inflation, Life Sciences companies will have to dramatically change in order to cope with the future industry environment.

One major consideration is product information over the life of a product, usually around 25 years. The change data is now so significant, that it is impossible to manage without the deployment of a Product Lifecycle Management process, governance and technologies. However, because many of the large Pharma businesses also run large consumer businesses, the driver for Product Lifecycle Management focuses more on the speed and agility of introducing new products and Portfolio management than necessarily compliance control. As a result, major Life Sciences and Consumer business companies need to understand:

  • The business drivers which drive a Product Lifecycle initiative
  • The scope of Product Lifecycle Management with respect to their business
  • The journey
  • The capabilities, governance & technologies
  • How to get the benefit and avoiding the risk

With this in mind, the Deloitte Life Sciences Centre of Excellence will be hosting an Executive Dinner to share the trend, the journey, the benefits and risk of introducing Product Lifecycle Management into a Life Sciences company. We are inviting a selected group of clients to an intimate event where Deloitte will host a roundtable discussion on Product Lifecycle Management.

We are pleased to announce that we will be joined by Antonio Mazzariello, the Head MDG & Project Lead for the Change Control Excellence Project at Novartis.
