Deloitte’s UK based International Immigration Solutions team provides specialist immigration advice to a range of multi-national corporations and high net worth private clients. Working closely with our tax colleagues, and Deloitte immigration specialists worldwide, we are able to provide our clients with effective and coordinated international immigration and tax solutions. Our globally co-ordinated network has over 600 designated immigration specialists in over 80 countries worldwide providing client focussed strategic immigration advice.
UK Issues and Trends
Protecting you and your sponsor licence: An essential part of our role as immigration advisors is to help protect the “A” rating of UK sponsors. We help many organisations to register successfully as a sponsor under the Points-Based System as well as reviewing their HR processes and immigration systems to help them formulate “best practice” policies. This assists our clients to manage key areas of immigration risk and ultimately maintain their ‘A’ rating following a UK Border Agency audit.
Business Visitor Compliance: Business visitor compliance is a challenge for UK sponsors because of the need to consider both tax and immigration policy requirements and to track those who travel without appropriate visas. We work with clients to help them formulate integrated tax and immigration solutions which raise awareness and reduce risk.
Investment Visas: The UK Government has taken steps to make the UK more attractive to investors and entrepreneurs with accelerated routes to settlement. Our UK team assists private clients to obtain visas as entrepreneurs or investors in the UK under Tier 1 of the Points Based System – formulating help which meets their particular requirements and those of their family members.
