Deloitte has the largest, most experienced R&D Tax Services Team in the UK. Out of our team of more than 30 dedicated R&D specialists, whose sole responsibilities are to assist clients in optimising their R&D claims, approximately one third are experienced technologists and engineers. We have adopted this model since the inception of the group in 2003 and our technologists now have a wealth of experience not just in technology but also in applying the definition of R&D for tax purposes within their specialist field and in agreeing those activities as eligible with HMRC.
