Daniel Francis Butters, William Kenneth Dawson and Neil Matthews were appointed Joint Administrators of the Companies on 4 April 2011. The affairs, business and property of the Companies are managed by the Joint Administrators. The Joint Administrators act as agents of the Companies and contract without personal liability.

The Group consisted of three companies; Romag Holdings plc (“PLC”), the AIM listed holding company, ROM Realisations Limited, a subsidiary of PLC and the main trading entity of the Group, and SHK, a dormant subsidiary of PLC. The Group traded principally as a supplier of photo-voltaic solar panels to the residential construction market, but also had operations producing specialist glass products for the transport, security and architectural markets.
The Group operated from its premises based in Consett, County Durham.
Following the appointment of Administrators, the trading business and assets of PLC and ROM Realisations Limited were subsequently sold to Ask the Genie Limited and Ask Genie Limited, newly formed subsidiaries of the Gentoo Group, on the same day.
The Joint Administrators continue to manage the affairs of the Companies.
It is the Administrators intention to provide all statutory information to creditors by use of this website in accordance with new legislation introduced by the Insolvency (Amendment) Rules 2010.
All known creditors will be advised each time a new document has been uploaded to the website and the documents will remain on the website for the duration of the Administration and for three months after the Administration has ended.
