Neville Kahn, Philip Bowers and John Reid were appointed Joint Administrators of Retail & Licensed Properties Limited, Retail & Licensed Properties (B) Limited, R&L Properties No 1 Limited, R&L Properties No 2 Limited and R&L Properties No 5 Limited (“the Companies”) on 11 January 2011. The affairs, business and property of the Companies are managed by the Joint Administrators. The Joint Administrators act as agents of the Companies and contract without personal liability.

All Insolvency Practitioners of Deloitte LLP are licensed in the UK.

The Companies were formed in 2007.  R&L Properties No 1 Limited, R&L Properties No 2 Limited and R&L Properties No 5 Limited own 204 freehold and 3 long leasehold sites which are generally operated as tied tenanted pubs across the UK.

The majority of the estate is located in Scotland, 121 sites, and the remaining 86 sites are spread across England and Wales.

The Administrators, with the assistance of a management company, will continue to allow the pubs to trade while seeking to improve trading performance and profitability pending the disposal of the properties on an ad hoc or portfolio basis as appropriate.  Any expressions of interest or requests for further information should be passed to Claire Glover on 0207 007 9970.

Use of website

It is the Administrators intention to provide all statutory information to creditors by use of this website in accordance with new legislation introduced by the Insolvency (Amendment) Rules 2010.

All known creditors will be advised each time a new document has been uploaded to the website and the documents will remain on the website for the duration of the administration and for three months after the administration has ended.
