Adrian Berry and Daniel Butters of Deloitte LLP were appointed Joint Administrative Receivers of Lincoln Group Limited, Elland Way Limited, St. James Way Limited and St. James Side Limited (together “the Group”) on 5 January 2012. The affairs, business and property of the Group are managed by the Joint Administrative Receivers. The Joint Administrative Receivers act as agents of the Group and contract without personal liability.

The Group owns and operates the Vermont Hotel and adjoining Marthas Bar in Newcastle, the Baltimore Hotel in Middlesbrough and the Portland Hotel in Hull, with a combined turnover of c.£3 million p.a. In addition the Group own a commercial office unit in Middlesbrough, which serves as the Group’s head office function, as well as two adjacent residential properties which were earmarked for further development.
The Group is to continue to trade whilst the respective businesses are marketed for sale.
