General Counsel Programme

At Deloitte, we understand that the role and responsibilities of general counsel within modern organisations is ever expanding and becoming more complex. Senior management is relying more and more on general counsel, rather than external counsel, for advice and guidance in relation to regulatory and compliance matters, legal risk, litigation and dispute resolution and managing legal information in relation to both internal and external investigations.

The need to remain up to speed with the ever changing regulatory and commercial environment and have access to the latest techniques and technology in responding to the demands of various stakeholders, is therefore more crucial than ever.

With this in mind, Deloitte has launched a programme of events and publications which focus specifically on the needs of General Counsel. The programme includes seminars and round table events designed to give insight into areas of topical interest while also providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences.

We publish regular communications and thought pieces around relevant topics, designed to help General Counsel keep up-to-date with the changing regulatory environment in which they operate and respond promptly to risks and opportunities with which they are faced.
