Deloitte appoints new partner to spearhead Forensic technology practice

Publish date:

Deloitte, the business advisory firm, announces the appointment of a new partner, Jarrod Haggerty to its Forensic and Dispute Services (F&DS) practice.  Jarrod, formerly responsible for leading PwC’s Forensic Technology Solutions practice in London, will head up the forensic technology team which incorporates a range of computer forensic, data analytics and e-discovery solutions.  This appointment follows significant investment by the firm recently to develop a leading forensic technology platform.

Jarrod brings over 17 years of experience in both the Australian police force and professional services industry.  He specialises in consulting in forensic technology solutions, including e-disclosure, litigation, data compromise and forensic data analytics.

Humphry Hatton, partner and head of forensic and dispute services at Deloitte, comments: “We are delighted to have Jarrod join our team.  He is widely regarded as the leader in his field and his expertise, particularly with multinational entities and regulators in the UK and globally, will further enhance and complement our existing expertise.  The appointment of an additional partner will bolster our forensic technology capability, ensuring it continues to keeps pace with our growing and highly successful forensic investigations and dispute services practice.”

Jarrod Haggerty comments: "Just as technology is integral to the running of today's companies, so too becomes the role of data in the course of litigation or an investigation.   An entire business dispute, commercial investigation or multimillion pound litigation may hinge on identifying when a single piece of data was communicated, generated, altered or deleted, by and to whom, and under what circumstances.

“Deloitte has an outstanding reputation for its ability to offer in-depth and comprehensive forensic support.  I look forward to working with the forensic technology practice and further developing the technologies and services we can offer to lawyers and clients.”
