John is a Partner within the Government and Infrastructure team with responsibility for our activities in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Before this John was a Partner at Grant Thornton and led the Government and Infrastructure Advisory team in Scotland and Northern Ireland. He spent five years as a Director in the Andersen Infrastructure team and prior to that a number of years advising on financing of infrastructure projects for a merchant bank.
John has 10 years corporate finance experience covering acquisitions and disposals, privatisations, including that of Forth Ports, as well as other Stock Exchange transactions and specialises in the provision of financial, commercial and strategic advice on a range of major infrastructure and public sector projects, particularly fund raising, capital structuring, outsourcing and new ventures.
