Leading insolvency practitioner joins Deloitte’s reorganisation services practice |

Deloitte has strengthened its asset recovery team with the appointment of leading insolvency practitioner, Louise Brittain. She joins the firm as a partner in the reorganisation services practice.
Louise joins from Baker Tilly where she headed up its special investigations team, responsible for dealing with high profile, contentious insolvencies involving fraud, international asset tracing and confrontational issues. Louise also has extensive expertise and experience in dealing with corporate and personal insolvency, bankruptcy and liquidation work.
Louise has worked on a number of high profile insolvency cases involving Jonathan Aitken, Neil Hamilton, David Irving, Michael Barrymore and Bruce Grobbelaar. She has also worked on numerous other cases from the Public Interest Unit of the DTI involving large groups of companies all with international trading operations. Prior to Baker Tilly, Louise spent eight years at PwC in their Specialist Personal Insolvency department.
