Stephen Mercer is a partner in our Technology Integration team. He focuses on IT Strategy and Effectiveness projects, particularly across Energy, Consumer Products and Manufacturing businesses.
He has led a large number of projects looking at both the alignment of business and IT strategies, and how the IT function is organised to deliver services effectively to the business. Typically his projects include examination of the IT operating model to assess the sourcing options, opportunities for IT processes improvement and ultimately to identify ways of enhancing the services provided to the business.
He is currently developing our capability in the rapidly evolving area of IT effectiveness - What is the correct operating model, which capabilities and skills do you require, and what level of process maturity is right for your IT function?
