Chris is the leader of our Enterprise Applications Strategy Practice in the UK and also is a member of the Executive Management Committee for the firm’s regional business.
Having graduated from Oxford in 1985 Chris initially entered industry before developing a successful career in information technology consulting. Chris joined Deloitte as a Partner in 1999.
Over the course of his career Chris has built a track record of delivering IT enabled business change. Working with clients across the full project lifecycle, Chris has been involved in the development of strategy through to the design and implementation of major systems to projects focused on the realisation of business benefits following successful conversion to the new technology. Typically these projects involved the implementation of major enterprise application packages including SAP and Oracle.
More recently Chris has developed our technology capability in the area of mergers and acquisitions. Working closely with colleagues from Corporate Finance he has been involved in undertaking around 140 due diligence exercises for both corporate and private equity clients. In many of these transactions he has then gone on to work with the new owners to carve out the IT function from the original parent or integrate IT operations of the acquired business with that of their existing operations.
In the course of his career, Chris has worked across a range of sectors including retail financial services, FMCG, manufacturing and utilities. Recent clients include Britannia Building Society, BirdsEye Iglo Group Ltd, Johnson & Johnson, Cattles plc, Elior Food Services and Kraft Foods Inc.
