Partner - IT Strategy
Mark is a Partner in Deloitte Consulting working where he leads IT Strategy. His primary industry focus is with Energy, Infrastructure and Utility (EIU) clients.
His experience prior to Deloitte includes 3 years as a Partner & Vice President at Booz & Company (formerly Booz Allen Hamilton), where he led the firm’s European Energy/IT team. Before Booz & Company, Mark was with Accenture for 13 years, including seven years as a Partner, and prior to this, he spent time as a Commodities Trader for Cargill. Mark has degrees in Manufacturing Engineering (B. Eng hons) and Economics (B.Com hons) from the University of Birmingham.
Mark has spent much of his career working with CIOs and Business leaders on IT strategy and Transformation programmes. This work has included business strategy alignment programmes, cost reduction and IT-enabled business process transformation. He has deep experience in energy trading, risk management, commercial optimisation and energy wholesale operations. He was heavily involved in London 2012’s Olympic Bid and subsequent programme mobilisation. He is a Trustee and Director of the charity SportsAid.
