Partner, Organisation & Change
Howard is a Partner in our Human Capital practice in the UK. He has over 20 years experience gained in both corporate and consultancy roles in the HR and People consulting arena. He specialises in Health and TMT and has considerable experience in leading large scale programmes involving significant workforce and people change. Howard has an extensive skill set across a range of business areas including; Workforce Planning Leadership Development; High Performance Team Creation; Organisation Design and Human Resource Transformation.
His responsibilities include liaison with the research arm of the CIPD. His publications include a CIPD-sponsored thought paper on the future of Employer Branding.
Key interests and recent projects
- National health organisation: ‘Clinical Workforce Productivity’ Engagement Partner – project to define and analyse the perceived differences between London and the Rest of England in workforce productivity;
- National health organisation: ‘Productive Leader’ Engagement Partner - project to develop and test solutions that would ultimately encourage senior leaders (CEOs and Direct Reports) to adopt a consistent approach to ‘evidence-based’ management processes to improve productivity;
- National media organisation: ‘People Operating Model’ Engagement Partner – project to redefine the roles and responsibilities of the top team in the HR and internal communications function;
- Central government department: Engagement Partner on project to build and align the leadership team of the client’s newly formed Debt Management and Banking Function.
