Peter leads the European Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing Advisory Team within Deloitte. Since 1990 he has helped some 60 organisations with shared services, outsourcing and offshoring initiatives and leads a European Team that has worked with over 350 organisations in this space.
He has been quoted on shared services and outsourcing in a number of Management Journals including The Financial Times, The Times, Accountancy Magazine, and CFO Europe and has featured on channels such as CNN Europe and BBC Radio 4. In 2011 Peter was voted into Globalization Today’s first annual ‘Powerhouse 25’ - the most influential 25 professionals driving the outsourcing industry, and in 2012 he received the IQPC’s Shared Services and Outsourcing People’s Choice Award for his Personal Contribution to the European SSC/BPO Industry.
Jean-Michel Demaison has been working in shared services and outsourcing since the early 90’s. A well-traveled individual, he has led several significant projects at an international scale with the implementation of shared services in Eastern Europe, Americas, Asia and France. His main clients have included global companies across a wide range of sectors and he is still very active in projects these days.
His biography has been included in the French Who's Who edition since 2007 in recognition of the distinction he has attained influencing and supporting large transformation efforts for major French and international companies. A member of several professional clubs, Jean-Michel has also been a regular speaker at the Deloitte’s European SSC/BPO conference. He has also published several articles relating to organization trends in leading French newspapers and magazines.

Formerly a founding partner of one of the first global business processing outsourcing (BPO) units, the CMO of a leading offshore BPO, Managing Director of FleetBoston's (now Bank of America) Services Group, Managing Director of Global Sourcing Transformation for Deutsche Bank; and consulting partner at Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen Deborah now works with leading companies to manage globalisation challenges through www.sourcingchange.com - the first resource solely dedicated to services change management.
After graduating from university in 1987 Ulrich worked 3 years for the Tax Staff of After graduating from university in 1987 Ulrich worked 3 years for the Tax Staff of Deutsche Bank while he earned a doctorate in business administration. In 1990 he joined Adam Opel AG the German subsidiary of General Motors Corp. where he held various positions in Tax, Audit and Accounting and played a major role in the European SAP implementation as well as major restructuring projects. From his role as the Director of the European Financial Shared Service Center in Barcelona he joined Deutsche Post Finance in 2004 as Head of Finance Operations and moved with the foundation of the Global Business Services into the role of Director Business Process Optimization and Performance Management. In October 2007 he took over the role of Head of Finance Operations Logistics to support the development and implementation of their Shared Service Center Strategy for Accounting. As of May 2008 he was responsible for the sourcing process and the contract negotiations for an Finance & Accounting outsourcing deal. Today he acts in his role as the GBS FHS VP Provider Management as the Contract Executive for DPDHL for one of the largest F&A outsourcing deals in the industry.
George is an accountant by profession having worked for Grand Metropolitan, Avon Cosmetics, Britoil and Whitman Corporation in a variety of finance and general management roles before joining Shell in 1998 to help establish the first of their shared service centres in Glasgow, Scotland. He is currently responsible for Shell’s global finance shared service strategy, migration delivery and double hats as Finance Centre Lead for the Glasgow centre where he is based. Outside of work George enjoys spending time with his family and is a keen football fan and hill walker.
