Background
Does the depth and breadth of testing performed within your organisation give you the confidence that your current projects will produce deliverables which meet the needs of your business? Will the application or architecture under development meet the desired quality criteria set out by the business? Will it deliver the expected performance required?
All too often the challenges of software testing are not fully understood or the challenges are understood but there is little confidence in the processes, techniques and practices to overcome them. This is exacerbated by having little or no visibility into the effectiveness – or rather, the ineffectiveness – of these testing activities.
