The external assurance of CR Reports has become widespread in recent years. Companies produce corporate responsibility and sustainability reports to broaden their conversation with an expanding list of stakeholders. Through these reports, organizations are enhancing their transparency and disclosure practices related to their environmental, social and governance initiatives. As the importance in and reliance of these report increases, there is a growing trend to add credibility to the information presented through assurance.
