Deloitte celebrates tax award success
The tax practice at Deloitte, the business advisory firm, is celebrating after being named Best Big Four Tax Team at this year’s LexisNexis Taxation Awards ceremony.
The Deloitte Tax Depreciation Team was presented with the prestigious accolade which recognised Deloitte’s unique, multi-disciplinary approach that helps businesses to understand, manage and optimise their claims for tax relief in respect of expenditure on property and other assets. In spite of the challenging market conditions of the past year, the tax depreciation team has flourished by developing and taking cutting edge ideas to the market, enabling businesses to recapture overpaid tax in prior years and adapting to material change in capital allowances tax legislation.
David Sproul, head of tax at Deloitte, said: “This award is further testament to the breadth, depth and quality of the tax practice at Deloitte. The accolade recognises the understanding, experience and commitment of our people to generate fresh thinking and produce progressive market solutions for our clients.”
The LexisNexis Taxation Awards are the UK’s largest Tax Awards and have been running for 11 years. They are judged by experts from the tax, accountancy and legal professions, and recognise organisations and individuals from both the professional services sector and industry for their outstanding contributions to the field of taxation.
