Dan is the Lead Partner of the Sports Business Group at Deloitte and manages the activities of the specialist group across all of its services, but with a particular emphasis on consulting and corporate development.

Amelia is a Senior Consultant in the Sports Business Group at Deloitte and has undertaken a wide range of assignments for governing bodies, clubs, event owners and other sports business organisations.

Richard Battle Richard Battle
Richard joined the Sports Business Group in 2010, having previously qualified as an accountant in Deloitte's Birmingham office. A large proportion of his work is in football, working on a range of projects for clients who include investors, clubs and governing bodies.

Alex is a Consultant in the Sports Business Group having joined in November 2012 from the Women’s Tennis Association, where he worked for over four years as broadcast and sponsorship manager.

Adam qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in Reading before joining the Sports Business Group. He has undertaken various assignments working with governing bodies, clubs, local authorities and other sports business organisations in the UK and internationally.

Duncan is a Director in the Sports and Leisure sector for Deloitte Real Estate with over 18 years in the delivery of major sport and leisure facilities. He is responsible for the project management and contract administration of new stadia, sports, leisure facilities and major sporting events.

Chris Hanson Chris Hanson
Chris qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor with Deloitte before transferring to the Sports Business Group in 2011. He has experience on a range of advisory projects, working with international and national governing bodies, clubs and other sporting organisations.

Stephen is a Director for Deloitte Real Estate and leads the Sport and Leisure team. He has over 15 years in the sports industry and is involved in all stages of sport developments from initial feasibility, design and procurement, and through to on-site delivery.

Mark is a Senior Consultant within the Sports Business Group with over ten years experience in sports consulting. Mark is lead consultant on the work the Sports Business Group does with sports and leisure venues, and has advised over 30 individual venues over the last five years across a whole spectrum of areas.

James joined the Sports Business Group as a Consultant in November 2012. Since joining the Group, James has assisted with the 2013 Economic Impact of British Racing report, prepared in conjunction with the British Horseracing Authority, as well as working on feasibility study for the hosting of a major event.

Andy is a Consultant in the Sports Business Group, having joined in February 2012. He is a Chartered Accountant and spent his training period working on a range of structuring assignments for multinational companies in the International Tax practice of another ‘big four’ firm.

Chris Stenson

Chris Stenson
Chris joined Deloitte in September 2007 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant three years later, before joining the Sports Business Group in April 2012. He has worked on a wide variety of projects across a range of different sports, with clients including volleyball’s world governing body (FIVB) and the ATP World Tour.

Alex Alexander Thorpe
Alex joined the Sports Business Group in 2010 having previously worked in the Deloitte Consulting practice in London. During his time in the group, Alex has focussed on strategic consulting projects including developing strategic plans for an international cricket governing body as well as assisting with the strategic review of a Champions League football club.
