Amelia Ashton-Jones

AmeliaAmelia is a Senior Consultant in the Sports Business Group at Deloitte and has undertaken a wide range of assignments for governing bodies, clubs, event owners and other sports business organisations.

She has recently returned from a three year secondment to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) where she managed the venue certification and licensing programme for the competition venues outside of the Olympic Park prior to taking up a role as a Venue Operations Manager for the Velodrome, BMX Track and Basketball Arena with day to day responsibility for planning, delivery and operations across these venues.

Amelia’s advisory work has included due diligence projects for potential investors, independent business reviews, feasibility and economic impact studies and advice to organisations on operational efficiency, revenue generation and cost control.  Her engagements include strategic reviews of the competition structures and finances of global tennis and rugby union competitions, business planning projects for several Premier League and Football League clubs, and a number of economic impact assessments including hosting of the Rugby World Cup and ATP World Tour Finals.

Amelia is a qualified Chartered Accountant and an author of the Deloitte Annual Review of Football Finance.
