Amelia is a Consultant in the Sports Business Group. She is a chartered accountant and manages the external audit engagements of several sports clients including Wasserman Media Group (Europe) and Jockey Club Racecourses.
Amelia has undertaken various assignments working with local authorities, governing bodies, clubs, and other sports business organisations. She has recent experience of working on a number of sports venues assignments including business planning projects for several Premier League and Football League clubs, and has worked on a series of assignments in tennis including assignments for the ATP and WTA.
Amelia's other recent engagements include a study into the economic impact to a host nation of staging the Rugby World Cup, a review of the competition structures and finances in rugby union and tennis, and due diligence projects for potential investors in sports teams.
Amelia is an author of the Deloitte Annual Review of Football Finance, focusing on player wages and the financing of football clubs.
Amelia is a keen triathlete and also enjoys tennis and windsurfing.
Amelia is currently on secondment at LOCOG, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games.
