Tim is a Consultant in the Sports Business Group, joining in September 2011. He is a Chartered Accountant and spent his training period working on a range of assurance and advisory clients across the North West in Deloitte’s audit department.
Tim spent the first four months of his time with the Group on secondment at a Premier League Football Club, where he assisted the Finance Director and Chief Executive on a day-to-day basis. During this time he developed a good knowledge of the workings of a Premier League club and knowledge of football specific accounting treatments.
Tim is an author of the Deloitte Football Money League and has assisted on the compilation of data for the Deloitte Annual Review of Football Finance.
Tim is a lifelong supporter of Manchester City and enjoys most sports. He is also a qualified football referee.
