Governance review - Lancashire County Cricket Club
Lancashire County Cricket Club (LCCC) engaged Deloitte to conduct a comprehensive review of Governance and Committee structure. We gathered views of Committee Members and Executives, followed by workshops to refine ideas. The project made recommendations in four areas: Structure, roles and responsibilities, people; and operation.
Governance review – Lawn Tennis Association
We carried out a two-phase project for the Lawn Tennis Association to help it overhaul its governance structures and change its working practices. Our corporate governance assessment helped to ensure its governance standards were consistent with the requirements of the UK Sport ‘Investing in Change’ document. Secondly we reviewed its management and governance structure, submitting proposals for change, following extensive consultation and review of the LTA’s current structure.
Modernisation of Governing Bodies - UK Sport
UK Sport chose the Sports Business Group to conduct a high-level review of the Modernisation Programme for National Governing Bodies (NGBs), entitled ‘Investing in Change’. This crucial project aimed to help NGBs move towards more effective and efficient operations and help Sports Councils and Government to clearly prioritise funding to support NGBs in their modernisation.
