Rich is a Senior Consultant and has ten years of experience with the Sports Business Group. He has undertaken a wide range of assignments for clubs, leagues, event owners, governing bodies and other sports business organisations.
Rich leads our economic impact assignments and has recently completed analyses of major events in a wide range of sports. These have included empirical studies of events such as the Ryder Cup, Super League Grand Final and Volvo Ocean Race, and projects assessing the potential impact of events on a host city/nation, including the Rugby World Cup.
His sports business experience includes conducting commercial due diligence for football clubs and sports right agencies, development and/or reviews of business plans, commercial strategy and consumer research regarding ticket pricing strategies.
He has extensive research and data management skills, and designed the Group’s Sports Business Information System.
Rich is project manager for the Deloitte Football Money League and author of the Annual Review of Football Finance, and has had a number of articles published in the sports business press.
Rich is a keen footballer, cyclist and snowboarder, and supports Wolverhampton Wanderers
