Deloitte appoints David Hodgson as new Healthcare and Life Sciences partner |

Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has announced the appointment of David Hodgson as a healthcare and life sciences partner within its Enterprise Risk Services practice.
With a proven track record in pharmaceuticals, David will strengthen the firm's risk advisory capabilities, with a particular focus on helping clients address their evolving regulatory obligations in a period of intense scrutiny.
David joins Deloitte from IMS Health, where he led the EMEA business transformation services team. Previously, he was the managing partner of Accenture’s health & life sciences group for the UK and Ireland.
Simon Hammett, UK and EMEA healthcare and life sciences leader at Deloitte, said: “Governments and regulators are under increasing pressure to bring innovative medicines to market more quickly, whilst safeguarding and improving public health.
