Deloitte launches infrastructure and capital programmes team
Deloitte, the business advisory firm, has announced the creation of a dedicated infrastructure and capital programmes industry team.
Nick Prior, head of infrastructure and capital programmes, will lead a team of 11 partners bringing together existing finance, tax, audit and consultancy support to the infrastructure sector and acting as a focal point for infrastructure experts across Deloitte’s global network of member firms.
The team will provide support to clients in the sector throughout the finance, design, build, operation and decommissioning phases of major infrastructure projects.
Nick Prior, head of infrastructure and capital programmes, said:
“Across the world, governments are investing in infrastructure to drive economic recovery and growth. The formation of our dedicated team is prompted by the opportunities and challenges that this presents for our clients.
“Given the size and scale of infrastructure projects, our dedicated team will bring together an integrated and global capability to strengthen the support we provide to the sector, building on the extensive experience we have on assignments like Crossrail and the 2012 Olympic Games.
“With the role that infrastructure will play in driving growth, and with a strong track record behind us, we look forward to building on our expertise in this vibrant and high-profile market.”
