Our Experience

At a time when the MoD continues to feature prominently on the front pages, the reality supporting ongoing operational commitments in Afghanistan and elsewhere, while dealing with significant affordability issues, is high on the agenda. The imminent Strategic Defence Review will seek to determine the capabilities the UK needs to counter evolving threats to the nation’s economic and physical security. This will be set in the context of the role the country wants to play on the global stage, the role it can afford to pay for, and the way government organises itself to respond. At the same time the Department is in the process of reforming its approach to defence acquisition in the wake of the Gray and Hadden-Cave reports and looking at way to reduce costs.

All this means the Defence sector and the MoD is going through a period of fundamental change which will shape the way in which the government’s primary responsibility – the security of the nation and its people – is discharged. Today we are helping our clients address a number of these challenges including: supporting the delivery of complex procurement projects and business change programmes, helping to reshape and upskill organisations, and looking at ways to reduce costs through new delivery models and improved partnering relationships with industry.
