Background
Potential reductions or freezes in budget growth will place significant pressure on the Defence sector and the Ministry of Defence to increase efficiency and effectiveness – without any reduction in delivery expectations. The MoD has a choice in how they react to this challenge. Given the sheer scale of the Department, a key pillar of success will be critically reviewing and redesigning traditional delivery models and organisation structures, and improving how the MoD manages, develops and deploys its people.
