Background
The £56.3 million spent by NHS Sheffield on Continuing Healthcare (CHC) placements represents one of the highest CHC expenditure levels in England. Working collaboratively with the PCT and its partners in the local authority and provider organisations, Deloitte developed an improvement roadmap and new customer pathway informed by detailed analysis of the underlying reasons for the comparatively high expenditure levels.
