Background

The NHS National Programme for IT (NPfIT) is creating a multi-billion pound infrastructure which will improve patient care by enabling clinicians and other NHS staff to increase their efficiency and effectiveness.

Deloitte has recently completed a three year assignment, transforming and delivering planning, reporting and assurance services to the NPfIT, through the National Programme Office. This case study describes how Deloitte supported this major programme and the range of services provided.
