'Mini-Stern' for ManchesterEconomic impact on Manchester City Region and the North-West |

The Policy Economics team within Public Sector Strategy recently completed 'Mini-Stern for Manchester ' report, which assessed the potential economic impact of climate change legislation on Manchester and the North West. This report is first if its kind in the world and was called 'globally groundbreaking' by Phil Woolas, Minister for the Environment. It is being used by the client group to begin the process of positioning Manchester and the North West at the forefront of efforts to tackle climate change through effective sub-national policy interventions.
The findings of the analysis were launched by Heather Hancock, Public Sector Strategy Lead Partner, and Phil Woolas MP, Minister for the Environment, together with senior public and private sector stakeholders in Manchester.
