Background

The Department for Works and Pensions’ (DWP) Work Programme is the biggest payment by results employment programme designed to support a wide variety of the unemployed back into sustained employment. It empowers private, public and voluntary sector providers to innovate and design delivery systems based directly on customer needs.

In 2011 Deloitte formed a joint venture with Ingeus UK which has won seven Work Programme contracts to deliver a range of UK welfare reform services.
