Energy volume reconciliations

Reconcilable differences?

Energy volume reconciliationsIn the UK gas and electricity supply industry, differences in volumes allocated by industry settlement arrangements and volumes billable to consumers ("imbalance") represent a significant cost to energy suppliers. The financial impact of these imbalances has increased markedly with the substantial energy prices rises over the last few years, and represents a significant component of the overall cost to serve.

Our brochure, Reconcilable differences? (PDF, 152KB), provides details of the tools we have developed to analyse, profile and reconcile large volumes of customer, billing and settlements data, highlighting the key issues that management need to address.
