We are pleased to announce our sponsorship of the above conference which takes place in London on 9-10 March.
The impending regulatory changes within energy trading are both global and comprehensive. Energy traders know that they must invest in their organisations to be compliant – or face the possible consequences of increased punishments and penalties. It has become a high priority for energy trading companies to obtain the relevant information now to begin preparing for compliance.
ETRC 2011 will bring together regulatory authorities, key industry leaders and industry associations to provide a 360-degree perspective on all aspects of energy trading compliance.
The new regulations are widespread, and several are set to be put into force by the beginning of 2011. Therefore, ETRC 2011 takes place at a time when organisations are eager to react. This event will give energy traders the ability to return to their organisation, with a clear idea of what they need to do to be compliant.
We will be presenting on day two of the conference (10 March) on compliance risk assessments looking at what an energy company should do in terms of risk assessment, how to put a single risk assessment methodology in place (e.g. with Op Risk), utilising business information to keep assessments live/updated, KRIs to measure the changing impact/likelihood of risks and links with appetite/strategy.
