Global Powers of Retailing 2011- Area: Retail
Background
The 14th annual Global Powers of Retailing identifies the 250 largest retailers around the world. It also examines trends for retailers to consider as they plan their growth strategies and discusses "Q" ratio - a way of drawing inferences about the future performance of retailers by examining current financial information.
This year’s report focuses on what globalization means for retailers – what can we learn from companies that have already tried to enter new markets? Are we on the precipice of a new age of globalization?
