In the first of our series, The changing face of retail: The store of the future, we examined how physical retail space, and the experience it provides, needs to evolve and adapt to meet the challenges of the changing economic environment.
In this second edition, The changing face of retail: The changing face of retail: Rightsizing the retail estate, we consider the challenges retailers face with their existing store portfolio. With the need for retail space declining, we look at how retailers can optimise their store portfolio by identifying what the right size and shape of their store portfolio should be to support their future operating model.
