Richard is the strategic adviser to our consumer business practice. He is one of the UK’s most influential retail analysts, with over 25 years of experience in this sector and is the founder of Verdict Research, the leading provider of analysis to the retail industry.
One of the areas, Richard is currently focusing on is to provide strategic advice to help our clients secure growth in difficult markets.
In recent years, Richard has worked with and advised many of the UK’s leading retailers, including Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Debenhams, Sainsbury’s, Littlewoods, John Lewis and New Look. Prior to establishing Verdict, Richard worked for five years as Editorial and Marketing Director of Mintel and previous to this as a Researcher at the Financial Times.
