Byron Griffin
Byron is the UK Business and Professional Services practice leader and is responsible for co-ordinating our efforts in the industry for Deloitte. He also heads up the Corporate Finance Advisory service line team for the industry and has extensive experience of a wide range of corporate finance work, including corporate and private equity M&A, disposals, secondary MBOs, refinancings and strategic advisory. |

John Charlton
John heads up the Business Services sector team within Deloitte’s UK BPS practice. He also leads the Facilities Management subsector team. John has worked throughout his Audit career with national and international companies, with an emphasis on fast growth acquisitive business and those in the contracting and support services industries. He also has experience of a range of Corporate Finance transactions, including working capital reviews and acquisition due diligence. John is one of Deloitte’s representative members to the Business Services Association. |

Peter Saunders
Peter heads up the Professional Services sector team within Deloitte’s UK BPS practice. He has national responsibility for our Audit services to the legal sector and in that role directs our comprehensive specialist training programme and our unique quality assurance function and he oversees the provision of technical support to our practitioners. Peter chairs both the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies’ working party for the Statement of Recommended Practice for LLPs and the 400-member Association of Partnership Practitioners. |

Carol MacKinnon
Carol leads the BPS Corporate Finance Transaction Services service line team and is Managing Partner of the Reading office. She has significant experience in due diligence, capital markets, bid assist and sell side services and, in addition to her UK-based work, she has spent time on cross-border transactions in the US, Canada, Australia and throughout Europe. Carol is one of our most experienced corporate partners in Class 1 acquisitions, takeovers and initial public offerings and acquisition diligence. |

Alison Bond
Alison leads the Professional Services Tax service line team. She is also co-author of ‘Ray’s Partnership Taxation’. Alison specialises in partnership tax, with a portfolio that includes 15 of the top 50 UK law firms and eight US law firms. In particular, she advises law firms on the tax issues involved in international mergers or practising cross-border in Europe and Asia. |

Roger Horwood
Roger leads the Business Services Tax service line team, as well as the Plant Hire subsector team. He has more than 15 years of tax experience, with particular expertise in the provision of international and cross-border tax advice to major multinationals. |

James Yearsley
James leads the BPS Consulting service line team, the Distribution & Logistics subsector team and the firm’s cross-industry Supply Chain Strategy practice. He has over 25 years’ international management consulting experience and is recognised in the consulting industry as an expert in delivering operations improvement, business process re-engineering and change management programmes. |

Katie Folwell-Davies
Katie leads the Human Capital Services sector team across Deloitte. As a Corporate Finance partner, Katie has UK and international transactional experience including disposal, acquisitions, private equity and public company flotations specifically in the human capital services arena. She has long standing relationships with company boards, investors and the wider adviser community who have specialist experience in the sector. |

Nick leads up the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) subsector team. He has extensive experience of leading complex, multi service line transactions, both UK and cross-border, for a wide range of private equity and corporate clients. |

Mike McChesney
Mike leads the Real Estate business in our Business and Professional Services practice. He has nearly 20 years’ experience in advising businesses in managing their real estate portfolios and aligning these to their strategic objectives. |

Heather Crosby
Heather is based in our Manchester office and heads up our Professional Services team in the North. She has extensive experience of advising law firms on strategic matters including mergers, partnership restructuring and also on a range of operational issues including financing, working capital management and performance management. |

Jeremy Black
Jeremy is an Audit partner in the Professional Services sector team. He has 17 years’ experience in advising professional practice clients on accounting, structuring and operational issues as well as a variety of strategic challenges and opportunities. In particular, following his MBA in Legal Practice, Jeremy has specialised in the implications of external ownership of law firms and leads our firm’s initiatives in connection with the Legal Services Act. |

Martin Moore
Martin is a Tax partner in the Professional Services sector team. He works closely with US firms and has solid experience of their rapid growth in the UK legal market and the challenges that brings to the global firm. Martin regularly presents at the Deloitte Law Firm Symposium and is chairman of our Tax Discussion Group: a forum for in-house tax managers of US law firms, held both in London and the US. |

Bill Kane
Bill leads our Business Improvement team within Operations Consulting and has more than 30 years’ experience in his field, including 4 years as Managing Director of a PLC. He is a Board-level coach on strategic visioning, business development and change management and was Global Lean Six Sigma Leader whilst at IBM Business Consulting Services. He has designed and led on more than 50 local and global business transformation programmes over the past 12+ years. |

Alastair James
Alastair James is a partner in Deloitte’s Consulting practice and from 2005 to 2011 led the firm’s Operations Excellence practice in the UK. Alastair has extensive experience in both the Public and Private Sectors, leading a variety of operating model, operations improvement and cost reduction exercises in fields as wide-ranging as procurement, shared services, Lean Six Sigma / BPR, and IT enabled change. His clients include Ingeus/Department of Work and Pensions, Cabinet Office, Ministry of Defence, NSPCC, Health & Safety Executive, DEFRA, Transport for London, the Department of Health and Hammersmith & Fulham Council. Alastair’s experience is central to the BPS team’s approach to supporting private providers of services to the public sector. |
