Background

This paper reflects Deloitte’s response to the CC’s working paper on the results of the survey of Finance Directors and Audit Committee Chairs, carried out by IFF Research on behalf of the CC.

Key findings

Deloitte’s response focuses on key survey points which it believes a) have implications for the analysis of competition in the statutory audit market, and b) should enable the CC to conclude that the FTSE 350 audit market is functioning effectively.
