Deloitte & London 2012
Nine years ago we chose to back London’s bid to host the Games. Considering London wasn’t favourite to win, it was a bold move for our firm. But we believed the Games would be a force for good, that they would create new social, economic and business potential and reinforce the UK's position as a leading global player – and this was the vision we stayed true to as our London 2012 journey unfolded. We dedicated the breadth and depth of our firm to help make the Games happen - contributing over 750,000 hours of integral expertise to support the Organisers with some of their most complex challenges. And so as the world set its sights on London, we watched with delight as all of our hard work backstage paid off in possibly the most successful and memorable Olympic and Paralympic Games in history.
The Games may now be over, but our London 2012 story will live on.
