Businesses are currently facing a complex set of issues including managing increased costs, improving efficiency, meeting changing and ever stringent regulatory requirements and achieving growth. Our approach brings together both insight and innovation from multiple disciplines with business knowledge and industry expertise to help our clients improve their business and achieve their ambitions.  

As we move in to 2014 it looks like we are heading towards recovery and the business is continuing to grow. We have continued to invest in our future, appointing 1 new partners, 6 new directors and recruiting over 50 graduates and school leavers in September 2013. This means that we are in a strong position going forwards with some of the most talented people working at Deloitte.

Our aim is to be the Distinctive Firm, with long term trusted client relationships at the heart of our global, national and regional business.

The Distinctive Firm

Deloitte has by far the broadest range of services of our contemporaries. We were the only Big 4 firm to retain our consultancy business when others divested theirs, recognising the value that it could add to our firm and to our broad range of clients. In 2010, we went on to acquire Drivers Jonas, adding further real estate advisory expertise to our offering. In Yorkshire as in all of our regions, we also have dedicated industry teams with the market-leading depth of knowledge and experience that our clients expect.

Deloitte in Yorkshire

Deloitte remains as committed as ever to the continued growth and development of the Yorkshire and the North East region, where we have grown our footprint substantially over recent years, particularly in financial services, tax and M&A. Since my tenure as practice senior partner at the beginning of 2010, we have also built focus and knowledge on South and East Yorkshire and continued to add depth to our 400 strong team.

As you would expect from the pre-eminent business advisory firm, we strive to add value to our clients by introducing them into our networks. We bring contacts at all levels and in all areas of the business community – not only in Yorkshire and the North East but across the wider UK and further afield – and ensure that these are put to work for the benefit of all of our clients.
