Gareth

Gareth leads our indirect taxes practice in Wales. He has over 13 years experience and is CTA qualified. Gareth advises clients across a wide range of sectors and has extensive experience in the public, manufacturing, real estate and financial services sectors.

Gareth has a deep working knowledge of all indirect taxes but with a focus on VAT. He has considerable experience in dealing with HMRC and regularly assists clients on issues such as: liability ambiguity; complex transaction analysis; supply chain issues; modelling, negotiating and agreeing partial exemption methods; VAT compliance; VAT grouping and corporate structuring; claim verification; voluntary disclosure submission and dispute resolution.

Gareth is a member of the National Deloitte Indirect Taxes Dispute Resolution Group which was recently voted “Best VAT Team” at the LexisNexis Taxation Awards.
