Phil heads up the Corporate Tax team in Cardiff and is lead client service partner for a range of corporate clients ranging from large multi-national groups to entrepreneurial clients. Specialisation includes tax advice with regard to real estate transactions, corporate reorganisations and international structures.
Tax advice provided includes identification of key tax issues arising from due diligence reviews, tax-efficient structuring, real estate planning, overall tax strategy advice and, where appropriate, liaising with the legal team to ensure that identification of tax risks are dealt with via negotiations / legal agreements.
Phil has advised on many complex property transactions, associated with a broad range of clients and industries. Specific areas of expertise include land remediation relief, international tax planning for real estate investors and tax depreciation.
