Tracy Hunter is a director leading our Forensic & Dispute Services practice in the South West and Wales. She qualified as a chartered accountant in Johannesburg in 1994 and has specialised in forensic matters since 1995.
Over Tracy’s career, she has developed a broad range of forensic experience across most industry sectors and has, in particular, developed extensive fraud and financial crime investigatory and advisory skills. She has also worked on numerous expert witness and forensic accounting matters.
Following a successful eight years in Deloitte’s London Forensic practice, in 2004, Tracy decided to move to the West Country and took up a position within the newly formed Deloitte Financial Services practice. She worked hard to help establish this practice in the market place and was then asked in 2007 to establish a Forensic & Dispute Services practice in Bristol and Cardiff. Tracy has thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity and over the past four years has built a highly skilled team.
She has recently worked for two of the major UK banks to assist them in revising their financial crime strategy and framework. She has also conducted numerous fraud audits within financial institutions, provided training to investigation teams and reviewed policy documentation.
